Your going to have to wait till its acting up or the codes active then move the wires around while watching the map voltage.

Well heres an update. I havent had any codes nor has it acted up and the car has been running great for the last week so I guess ill wait just as you have said. Thank you ill keep you updated

I had a similar issue with my 1999 saturn sl2 random high idle like a ghost come and. Go. Had to ride it out found out it was a bad throttle position sensor wire harness connector.

How did you find out that it was a bad throttle position sensor connector and I think I mite have something like the problem you had going on with your car and its happening to my car but the car runs great for a week and then acts up when you first start the car and then shut it off fpr about two hours and start it up and runs great again

When I would stop some where the idle would be high like 2 thousand rpms I would go under the hood and move the wire harness going to the tps and idle air control valve and the idle woul drop down to normal the second I would touch it. So I knew it was one of those connectors. But wasn't sure which then the check engine light came on with a code P0105 map verus tps then I knew it was the tps connector. Also when the check engine light came on it would start shifting harder. So that was another sign it had a bad tps connector.
