Noises problem
1998 Audi Cabriolet 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 89,000 miles
The clunk occur's on full lock/turn & sharp pull aways. Possibly on passenger's side. Shocks, bottom bushes, sway bar bushes, and engine mountings have been replaced, except for the top shock mountings. It's been through two garages. All has been retightened. The sound has reduced but is still there.

I had the same problem. When I replaced the lower ball joints (not as hard as it sounds 3 nuts and 1 bolt) and the steering control arm tips the sound went away. The clicking or clunking is coming from the space in the ball joints and tips. Check your tires for uneven wear, that is an obvious sign. Also check your ride at about 75-80mph. Gently move the wheel about 1/2 inch to the right and left and see if the steering wheel begins to rattle a bit. That's another sign. Good luck!
