HAD YOU RUN IT WITH NO OIL WHEN THE LEAK WAS FOUND?

'NUTHER WORDS, WAS IT OUT OF OIL AT ANY POINT THAT IT WAS STILL BEING DRIVEN?

WAS IT MAKING THE SAME 'ZACT NOISE, BEFORE YOU SNATCHED THE PAN?

RECKON THERE MIGHT BE A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE IN THE PAN CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ONE, NOW THE CRANK IS RICOCHETING OFF OF SOME, IN THE WAY, PAN METAL?

(MAYBE PULLING IT OFF AGAIN MIGHT SHOW SOME SCUFF MARKS INSIDE)

NOT BEING THERE TO LISTEN OR SEE,

IF YOU DID NOT SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN WITHIN SECONDS OF HAVING NO OIL PRESSURE (LIGHT ON OR GAUGE SHOWING NUTHIN'), THINGS MIGHT NOT LOOK SO GOOD FOR YOUR CAR

JUST AN INQUIRY, HOW FAR DID YOU GO AFTER THERE WAS NO PRESSURE?

THIS IS THE PERFECT-US TIME TO GET A JEEP!

I RECKON YOU MEANT THE 1ST VIDEO

(I HAD TO COPY AND PASTE THE LINK ONTO A NEW TAB, I RECKON IT WON'T LAUNCH FROM 2CAR)

HIS SOUNDS WERE COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE.

IT'S SORTA HARD TO HEAR "THE REAL DEAL" ON A RECORDING

BUT

TO ME THAT SOUNDED LIKE LIFTERS (TAPPETS) RATTLING-NOT REALLY A KNOCKING

GOT NOTHING TO LOSE!

ADD A QUART OF MARVEL MYSTERY OIL IN IT, THEN FINISH FILLING IT TO THE FULL MARK WITH YOUR REGULAR OIL. (DON'T OVERFILL IT!)

SEE IF IT GETS ANY QUIETER

I HAVE A PIC OF A BOTTLE BELOW-IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OTHER BOTTLES

JUST LIKE ANY OLE OIL CHANGE

THE MARVEL MYSTERY OIL WILL TAKE THE PLACE OF A QUART OF OIL THAT YOU WOULD NORMALLY PUT IN.

IN YOUR CASE, IF THERE IS SOME OIL ALREADY IN THERE, ADD THE "MMO", CHECK THE DIP STICK, FINISH FILLING IT UP TO THE "FULL" MARK WITH YOUR REGULAR OIL. WE DON'T WANNA OVERFILL IT!

I RUN "MMO" EVERY NOW AND AGAIN IN MY VEHICLES, USUALLY WHEN I HEAR SOME TAPPING (HYDRAULIC LIFTER NOISE) I'M PRETTY KEEN ON HEARING ANY ABNORMAL NOISES, EVEN THAT OTHERS ARE UNABLE TO HEAR, SO I SORTA NIP IT IN THE BUD, BEFORE IT GETS WORSE!

"MMO" CAN BE RUN WITH EVERY OIL CHANGE, IF ONE DESIRES (STAYS IN TILL THE NEXT CHANGE)

I JUST DO IT IF I HEAR MY LIFTERS, OR MAYBE EVEN JUST ONCE A YEAR FOR GIGGLES.

THE REST OF THE TIME I RUN ONE QUART OF "LUCUS OIL STABILIZER", SUBSTITUTED FOR A QUART OF OIL, IN MY REGULAR OIL CHANGES (EVERY 3000 MILES)

COSTS A LITTLE MORE, BUT I REBUILT THIS 1977 JEEP ENGINE IN 1995, I DRIVE IT EVERY DAY, IT'S STILL GOING STRONG!

TOP IT OFF TO THE FULL MARK WITH "MMO"!

OR DRAIN IT OUT AND START OVER! (THIS APPROACH MIGHT LET YOU SEE IF YOU HAVE BUNCHES OF METAL IN THE OIL)
