1997 Plymouth Voyager brakelightonleft side not working

First thing is doe sit have trailer tow package from factory if it does check your relays. Second does the light get power? If it doesn't does the turn signal work. If it doesn't get power then check for a broken harness if it gets power but doesn't 't work check the ground for the light that may be broken or corroded. It grounds at the LH rear quarter panel
