Spray starting fluid in intake while cranking, if engine runs a few seconds, then ignition problem, otherwise a spark issue.

Try some starting fluid and if it starts, check the fuel injectors for battery voltage supply and pulsing.

The eyeball and thumb method is not gonna work with the fuel pressure -you need to use a fuel pressure tester to determine the actual fuel pressure the fuel pump is producing, also check if the injectors are pulsing meaning if its opening and closing to provide fuel to the cylinders
