LX450 ticking noise

I have a ticking sound on my LX450 but it runs perfectly fine, no leaks etc. Any ideas? I have 190,000 miles...any suggestions for pro-active services?

Ticking noise during idling are usually due to valve clearances. Have the valve clearances checked and shims replaced if there are signs of abnormal wear.

You're welcome.

When valve cover is removed, the gaskets is recommended to be replaced, unless it has only been installed recently.
