Typically, what would a mechanic charge to replace a water pump in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler?

IMMA CJ GUY, PRESENTLY HELPING ANOTHER CJ GUY

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LINK, YOU MAY HAVE TO COPY AND PASTE IT ON A NEW TAB....ITS NOT BEEN WORKING LATELY!

HE GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR HIS CJ, HE LIVES IN CALIFORNIA

IT WAS $486

TRYING TO GET HIS COURAGE UP, ITS NOT HARD!

PROBABLY NOT TOO HARD ON YOURS EITHER, A CHILTON OR HAYNES MANUAL CAN GUIDE YOU THRU IT, A DECENT ASSORTMENT OF SOCKETS AND WRENCHES WILL MORE THAN LIKELY GET YOU THRU IT.

WADDU THINK?

YOUR TURN

What do I think? I think I'm glad I don't live in California.
I just got it done for $175.00 by a local mechanic.
Thank you for the response though.
