Overheating what could it be?

Hello my 1997 honda civic lx is overheating but there are no sign of leaks but theres water missing in the radiator.I changed the radiator cap, I know the thermostat works and the cooling fan engages when idling

Have the engine pressure checked for a blown head gasket/intake gasket and radiator checed for cooling, if you feel cold spots in radiator then it's bad as it should be approximately same temp all over.
