1997 GMC Savana Transmission

I have installed three transmissions and they last for a couple days then won't shift from 2nd to 3rd trans just slips. My check engine light is not on. I had one trans rebuild 2 times. It has to be something other than transmission itself

Have a trans guy check this there may be a trans module problem or electrical problem if used transmissions hard telling what is wrong however there are two tsb's that deal with this, one refers to a dented oil pan that blocks fluid to filter and causes trans failure, the other is tsb08-07-30-027 it deals with a pressure control solenoid bad, especially if clutch particals in pan and the other part is a different sprag assembly that needs to be changed.

The other stuff has tobe checked internally, also if you r pan is smashed that will cause it to so take it off and straighten it out.
