1997 Ford XG Repair Question

1997 xg ute will start and idle but wont rev out ,replaced map sensor, coil,air intake manifold gasket,
Any help would be grate ful as this is my only means of transport

we dont' have info for these vehicles. scan engine for codes an dcheck fuel pressure first. check engien vacuum at idle if at 15" or below check for a cloggedconverter.
