Battery light on

What causes the battery light to come on? I've had the battery and alternator tested, both are good. I've cleaned the terminnals, checked all fuses. Please help.

Have you a alternator charge rate reading? Let me know what this is, use a volt meter and probe the main wire at the alternator and earth the neg cable to ground, bring up the revs and read the voltage get idle & 1500 RPM's.

It's charging at about 14 volts.
