The vehicle is having several problems. First, feels like transmission is not shifting and vehicle is not taking off properly. Must give it 1/4 of the pedal before the truck will slowly move. The rpm gauge and speedometer is not working. Please let me know what your feeling are on it. It has 3 of my guys completely stumped when it is coming to this problem. Thank you.

This is normally always a torque converter issue. Basically, the converter is not able to push the fluid effectively enough for it to actually move the vehicle.

What I would do is start with checking the fluid level and condition.

Depending on the condition of the fluid you can try and change it but if that doesn't work then you will need to most likely replace the converter.

The way to confirm this is to monitor the RPM and turbine shaft speed and they should be about the same. If they are not, then the converter is the issue.

Please let us know what you find on this, and we can go from there. Thanks
