how do you reset the service engine soon light without a scanner?

Have you fixed the reason it's on?If you haven't then resetting it won't do any good the light will just come back on.If you don't live in california take it to a auto part's store and have them scan it for code's and let me know the exact code number's and i will help you trouble shoot it.
