The toyota tacoma truck engine cranks but won't start when the outside temperature ranges from 95 F - 110F. I open the hood and let it cool down, then the engine cranks and actually starts. What could be the problem?

What happens is the EFI relay gets hot and stops working I have seen this p[problem before. Here is the location of the relay and a guide to help you test it.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find.

It won't start, the heaters, radio, signal lights, just all stop working.
Everything worked fine, until everything quit working. My starter relay quit working one day so i bought one to replace it. Just before i was gonna buy one everything quit working. I bought the starter relay and put it in and nothing but more problems.

I had started my truck & run it for maybe 1 minutes. I tried to restart less than 5 minutes later & all I get is clicking. The battery is good because the lights etc work.

Amy ideas?

Best test the battery and connection if okay start by doing a current draw test on the starter

I checked the battery and connections, they are good; the starter relay and starter motor are good; The ignition switch works. But that still don't tell me why my heaters, radio, signal lights, and wipers quite working.

If all the fusible links and fuses are good and all other areas good to include what I've suggested then there's nothing wrong with it-

96 Toyota Tocoma with 22R motor 2wd. If I drive around for an hour or more, stop the engine and then try to restart nothing happens. The motor must cool down for an hour before I can restart. This happened last year and I replaced the plugs and distributor harness. What am I missing.
