How do you Remove a 1996 Toyota Camry CD Player?

Try this:

First you need to remove thhe U-shaped plastic piece (with the 12volt cig-lighter). To do this, simply take a flat head screw driver to the lower right hand corner and pry it back. The plastic should pop off enough for you to release the other corners by hand.

Second let the plastic dangle and locate the 8 screws (4 holding in the Upper Din radio and the 4 hoklding in the option CD player or dash-tray).

Unplug the cables to the radio (2 blue and 1 black) these should correspond to the new stereo you are putting in. And to install the new radio just take the steps in reverse.
