1996 Saturn SL2 Repair Question

96 saturn sl stalled then cranked but not turn over happened before turned key and nothing but started when i popped clutch now it wont
Previous to the forementioned,car sometimes not crank when i turned key but would start after another try.while driving i was at a stop car died cranked but not turn over(start)a week or so before i turned key and nothing,started when i popped clutch tho. now it wont start at all.HELP

Just to add to this one the engine will crank over but not start?If so you could have a bad coolant temp sensor.Have you tried holding the gas pedal all the way to the floor while trying to start the car?
