Abs light
On my 1996 mercury grand marquis the abs light comes on then car vibnats,and sometimes it dies. the light dose not come on for awail

The light comes on because the computer has recognized a malfunction. You need to have the codes read with a professional scan tool, not just a generic code reader.

Are you sure about that year? Check abs codes. Check all brake pads and wheel speed sensors.
