Temp gauge

Temp gauge doesn't move it stays on cold it seems to get up to operating temp all fluids full there are not leaks its not over heating heater works good blow hot air when warmed up could it be a sensor or the thermostat or something in the dash?

If you are getting heat, that tells me the engine is warming up. Also, since it isn't overheating, that tells me the thermostat is working properly. I would first suspect the temperature sending unit CTS which is at the front of the engine near the thermostat housing. (diagram below) Check and make sure the wiring to it is good and the connector is clean and not corroded. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

Take the wire off the sensor and ground it the temp gauge should go to full this will tell you the gauge is okay.
