I'm buying a car that has a cracked head and dealer is having glass seal installed and block lubed and shaved is that a good or bad thing, and what is a glass seal?

The only repair for a cracked head is to have it removed and welder, any stop leak will not work, I would not buy this car as you will be pulling the head very shortly and probably at your expense.
