I recently replaced my front left cv axle and now my car wont accelerate. I checked torque specs and re-torqued everything, no change, and there is a grinding noise. I am not sure if it would be tranny or not, as I have had a leak for a while but even low on fluid accelerated just fine. Maybe I have mud in the differential/tranny? If you have any experience please let me know.

If you just replaced axle and it did this then recheck your work. If trans is low on fluid you will burn it up driving it like that and maybe this is what happened. Check fluid level and if dark brown or black take to a trans guy
