1996 Honda Civic Fouled Expansion Valve

Mechanic diagnosed as bad compressor, drier tower and clogged/fouled expansion valve. Have all parts and system is pumped down with just oil in compressor. Cannot locate the expansion valve to replace it, where is this valve located?
