Air Conditioning problem
1996 Honda Civic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 96' Honda Civic and my air just blows hot. I have taken it to three mechanics that specialize in Hondas and i have been told three different things. My compressor works but the wire that makes the air get cold is burnt and so its an electrical problem. Then I was told that its a computer problem and lastly I was told that I needed a new compressor which I bought and it still doesn't work. What are they missing?

Hi Davis0611,

If the compressors works but the air is not cold, then it could be the controls, it is mixing up with the heater unit. Check and see if the heater hose control is out of adjustment or dislodged in open position.

If there is anything wrong with the thermistor , the compressor would not work.
