My 96 Dodge Ram starts, but will not stay running unless I have it hooked up to jumper cables. I had the battery, and the alternator checked both were good. What else could be causing this?

The ignition switch is fine. The car starts, and does not stay on when I shut it off or do any of my dash lights. The issue is that is does not stay running, and hold a charge once I get it started. The truck will only run when hooked up to another car. As I said before the alternator is good, the battery is good according to voltage tests.
