I bought this truck not running cause it has new tranny and transfer case there is a hole for egr tube but no tube will that cause it not to run

No, it would run but have an exhaust leak.

Start with basics. Compression, fuel pressure and spark test. Let us know what is missing

Thank you for your response so far I have changed coil pick up, cap and rotor of course plugs have fire timing is on the money and I removed cleaned tank put in fresh gas and some heet removed fuel rail all injectors squirting good will check pressure tomorrow but at a loss trired using starting fluid as well same outcome starts and instantly dies within a second either way any help is appriciated thank you

I got it running was a bur on drive plate making crank positioning sensor show timing being off thank you for your time
