Hi. I was getting a tapping noise in dash when I turned on (auto temp control) unit so I did a diognostic test as stated in my haines repair manual. It gave me a code 31 (atc recirculation door stall failer). My manual does not say what to do or what the cuase is from. Now that it is cold out when I drive it doesn't want to let any heat in for a long time but when it does if I have to slow down or come to a stop my heat turns to cold air.

Thanks thats a pretty detailed picture. I will have to take a look at it and see what I can find out. The only problem is finding a garage to work on it. I try and do repairs myself to save money but I hate when things go wrong in the winter because of not having a garage.
