1996 Chevrolet Truck Chevy doesn't start when park

96 Chevy 2500 doesn't start when parked, but will start in neutral it runs good and all, and doesn't stop when parked, I will still move, the two problems started together, hope you can help me, thanks.

Check to see if your cable going to trans is any good there are two parts front and back it may not be into park fully sowon't start. Then make sure to check your battery to body ground.
