Truck has been sitting for 3 months, wouldn't start, scan tool said(camshaft to crankshaft position correlation fault) replaced camshaft sensor, no good.
Fires right up on starting fluid, so its a fuel problem, right? Have spark, checked with timing light. Noticed tonight, when I turn on the ignition, the fuel pressure gauge is not going up everytime, but if you turn the key a little further toward the start position the gauge jumps right up to 62#, when you start cranking the engine it almost starts then the guage drops to 40#, then it just turns over with out starting. I am really thinking the ignition switch may be my problem ! Any advise greatly appreciated.

This site has helped me alot !

I have had those switches do some pretty strange things. If you have to move it around like that, I would start there. It may not be delivering power to the PCM when it is messing up, so even with fuel pressure it has no injector pulse to deliver the fuel

Let me know how it goes. You can even just put the new switch in without running it through the dash, go around the easy way just to see if it fixes it

Jack, Wired the fuel pump direct to check, turned out to be the fuel pump, I had just replaced it a year ago, so thats why I was looking in other area seeing it would show 62#, the flow was not there & pressure drop was bad also when releasing pressure on the gauge. The pump was covered under warrenty, but that doesn't install it ha ha ha.

Runs like a top again, Thank for the help Jack
