I bought blazer that has been sitting a minute. Over period of last six months I have attempted to 3-4 times to get it running. When putting gas into intake it will run til gas runs out After trying to get running by putting new fuel pump and finding the relays in dash were gone and replacing from a nother wrecked blazer still no luck. Needing to move blazer I hot wired the fuel pump and what I have is the pump works but is cycling back into tank. My thinking is that it is not allowing for adiquet pressure to build up. To add When replacing fuel pump two of the ears were broken from the assembly. The right and center so I spliced a piece of fuel hose from line onto assembly replacing coupler with hose clamps. Initially I had fuel running out of some sort of vent at spare tire so I thought ist have accidentally crossed the two hoses do swapped them and the leak stopped but still not running. Please clue me in seems I'm missing something simple. Thanks a head of time

Check fuel pressure with a gauge 60-66 psi the fuel pump relay is underhood in fuse box. It may be the way you installed the pump an it's leaking internally
