I have put a new fuel pump on my truck and it has ran fine for about three months and then it died. I can still hear the pump running but no gas coming out of the injectors. I have changed the fuel filter and still nothing. The parts store said it wouldn't be the fuel relay switch or I wouldn't have no power to the pump. Any other ideas?

Mastertech Tim, I saw your response to the question about fuel to the injector, you asked if it would run on starting fluid....
I'm currently trying to identify my problem with my 2000 Blazer. I can get it running with starting fluid, drive it, shut it off for a minute, then start it back up again. If I let it sit for 5 minutes or longer, it will not start on its own.
Any suggestions? Fuel pump need replacing? I replaced the filter allready. If I jump on the accelerator, the engine stumbles, if I let up on it, it will accelerate. I checked the fuses that I could see, the look fine. The larger block fuses, I can't tell if they are bad or not. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

your problem is a weak fuel pump. i have seen this a hundred times. first step is to buy ac delco fuel pump. second make sure the connector on fuel pump is good and tight. this fuel system uses high pressure and volume to open the injectors, so even though your pump is running its not building up enough volume of fuel to start on its own. this is why it starts and runs off stARTER fluid but wont restart. check back and let us know
