When I get up to 55 or 80 mph my car starts bogging out really bad. I've had the fuel filter changed. They said it was the original fuel filter and clogged really bad. What could it be?

-Do you have a check engine light? Have the fuel pressure checked out-this will rule out a failing fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter-

No the check engine light is not on. Could it be it needs new spark plugs? I haven't never changed those neither?
