Misfire at 45 mph

1995 Toyota 4runner v6 3.0L just had tune up-plugs,wire,dist. cap, rotor. Injectors cleaned/checked. Idles good in Park. In gear while accelerating it misfires/jerks at 45-50 mph but only in that speed range. Sometimes idles rough at stop. What should I check next and how can I get a 95 scanned for codes?

It sounds like a egr valve issue that would explain only happening at that speed.Let me look up the info on reading codes without a scan tool on that.

I posted how to read the trouble codes without a scan tool. After reading the codes try unhooking the egr valve vacuum hose that opens it.Tak it for a drive and see if the problem changes?

Is that the small hose going from the egr regulator to the valve? It didn't run better and actually sounded louder.

The small rubber hose on the top of the egr valve.
