I have a 95 Saturn SL 1.9sohc.
I just got it in Dec. 2010, @ that time the heat did not work, I diaganost it as a bad diode, the heat now works.
Now that it is warm I turn on the a/c all connections in car dash are good. I found under hood a 7.5 amp mini fuse blown, I replaced it, whith car and a/c on it blows instantly, with car off it dose not blow but when started it blows again.
I disconnected the a/c comp. Harn. And the fuse no longer blows.
I know alot about 12v dc, but nothing about refrigeriant and mechanics.
It appears if between the pully and comp. A wire from the comp. Side (not the car side is possibly tangled and I see what appears to be some sort of gasket or O-Ring bunched and broken.

What should I try now?

Alright let me get this straight your a/c fuse blow's with the a/c compressor plugged in?If you unplug the the compressor clutch it blow's?If so with the engine off see if the center of the a/c clutch turn's freely if it does you have a bad clutch or the wire to the clutch is shorted to the compressor.
