Hey there. I have a problem with battery charge. I have diagnosed the problem so will keep it brief for your sake. The battery will not hold charge(have recharged it from dead state/went flat after a few hours with engine switched off). The battery check light does not illuminate during start up (have changed lamp/not a blown bulb). Therefore the charging system is in a total loss operational condition. I would like to know if you have a solution or an indication as to where the problem lies and what is needed to be done to fix the problem.
thank you in advance.
martin.

Do a current draw test, place amp meter between battery poa and the battery cable, check amp draw, if over.2 Amp start pulling fuses to see which circuit is drawing excessive current, also disconnect alt as part of the test as a blown diode in the rectifier can also be a cause.
