1995 Olds Aurora; 98000 actual miles; transmission started not shifting into high gear; RPM's running around 3000; had fluid and filter changed; looks great inside pan; does something electronic need to be reset?.

Nothing to reset. However, if the check engine light has come on, have the computer scanned for codes. It could be due to a few things, a bad torque converter, torque converter clutch (TCC), Trans control module (TCM) or a shift solenoid.

Or a bad Throttle Position Sensor or major air leak.
