There is a cable that runs from the throttle body to the trans. There is an adjustment on the cable at the throttle body. It sounds like it needs to be adjusted

I replaced shift cable shift points are better 1-2, 2-3 still no overdrive. Overdrive lite on dash should be off to achieve overdrive. The rpms are very high 40mph 3.5 grand. I took a voltage reading at tps reading.619 reading should be.89 to 1.20, unplugged tps took resistance reading from 4.0 to 0 ohms. Coolant temp sensor good, overdrive solenoid is getting power to the sol. And thur the sol. Will a tps cause no 4th gear?
