When you click "submit" the page reloads twice, usually right away. If it took a long time you might have seen a blank box again, but your message would appear when it reloaded the second time. I don't see your first post on the list which means someone already posted an answer. You will get an automated e-mail with a link to take you right back there to continue the conversation with just that person. You can clarify anything then. They usually have more questions anyway.
With the current web site, you only have one hour of inactivity before you have to sign in again. That can be real frustrating if you typed for over an hour, as I often do, because everything gets lost when it makes you sign in again. Now I copy everything I type so I can paste it if necessary rather than retype all the good stuff over again.
