Ive got no 2nd grear and 4th is starting to go out. Ive been doing some research and ive come up with that the 1995 chevy halt ton have a one year stand alone transmission(4l60e). So my next question is ive found a 95 blazer with a 4l60e tranny. And im wondering if that transmission will work and bolt right up no hoops to jump through. Any info will help a lot

thanks

As long as both transmissions had the same engine otherwise there is a balance issue. In other words if it came out of a 4.3LV-6 going into a 4.3L V6 it's a bolt in swap but if came from a V8 to a V6 then the converter would need changing.

Ok so the tranny is coming out of a 95 blazer v6 and going into a 95 1500 4x4 so I will just need a 5.7l tourque converter.
