When engine is still cold, it stall when you shift to drive. please help me. thank you!

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Also, check for vacuum leaks and check fuel pressure. Make sure it is within spec. Finally, check to make sure the throttle position sensor is working.
