1994 Nissan Truck Repair Question

Nissan Truck Engine Problem
Why is the engine not starting? it cranks and turns over just fine, I checked and it has fire and gas. vacuum hoses around carb looks good. All fuses checked (inside truck). I just don't understand why it will not start. It just turns over with nothing happening. HELP!!!
