1994 Mazda b3000 Repair Question

Mazda b3000 Floor Problem
In the last week, my mpg has gone from 20 to 10. When I get up to between 45 to 55mph, it starts lurching, and if I shift to fifth, with the pedal to the floor, it doesnt accelerate or get higher than 2200rpms. what do you think?

Have the computer scanned for codes and if you find any, post the numbers here.

Why, do you think a code number is a magic answer? That is only the starting point.

No. but if I go to a professional with a computer scanner, I would probably just talk to him.
