I have a Lexus ES 300, I have been having a overheating issue. At first my power steering wasnt working so it was said that since the car has a hydralic system everything was connected the fan wasnt getting the right pressure. Now I have gotten the power steering pump fixed the car still seems to be getting hot, could it be cause I dont have a thermostat? what else could be the issue? I have also changed the water pump

betstthing here is to have apro check this, but if you want you can check it yourself. AFter the car is hot shut the engine off and disconnect the fan if its' electric. check the radiator for cold spots. if it has cold spots and not feel the same temp all over then your rad is bad. A pro can check the system for leaks by a pressure check.
