stalled

Hi,I have a 94 t-bird that stalled after going through a deep puddle and now it just clicks when I turn the key.Any help would be a great help thanks!

Start at the starter motor/connections, starter relay, transmission range switch/sensor and ignition switch -make sure the battery is good

Before you move onto Ras's advice, you may have hydrolocked the engine or even worse. Try using a socket on the crankshaft bolt to turn the engine by hand. If it won't turn, remove all the spark plugs and crank it over, then pray you didn't bend a connecting rod.

Thanks guys,I took out the plugs the cylinders are full of water and it wont turn over with a prybar on the crank..looks like I bent the rods!!

Yup! its hydrolocked big time-Now a rebuilt or a Reman engine is in question-Good Luck

Try this syphon the water out of the cylinders and attempt to turn engine over and see what happens

I think you learned a lesson to NEVER drive through deep water. If the plugs are out and it still won't crank, it's history.

You didn't go in a puddle -you took the bird swimming that's the only way for the water to be in there-Big price to pay here-Good luck
