Koeo mil on- start engine mil goes off for 10 seconds then comes on and stays on. Only dtc is 111. Replaced ecm. Same problem. When sensors are disconnect dtc sets for that particular sensor. Checked wiring using breakout box every pin test within specs.

What is causing my fuel pump to run when I turn the key on but not start it. I know it is supposed to come on for a few second then cut off but mine never stops. I've replaced every relay. When I can get it to run it runs really rough and smokes a little and check engine light is on and smells like gas real bad. When I hook the jumper wire up to try to receive the code it doesn't do any thing its like the wire isn't in there and I know im doing it the right way cause i've got the codes a few times before

Have you checked the fuel pressure? The regulator may be bad.

Let me know.

I haven't cause it seems eletrical it started out doing it as soon as I turn the ac on then I turn the ac off and it would run right again but now when I can get it to start it does it all the time just every once in a while when running the light will go off and will smooth out for a second or too then go back to bad again with CE light on, with the ac on or not

It does sound electrical. However, too much fuel can cause it to missfire under a load. THe AC may have been enough of a load at first. HAve you had the computer scanned to see what codes are stored in the it? IF not, most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free. If you can't get it there, many will lend or rent the scanner to you. Maybe we should start there if you feel it is more electrical.

LEt me know.

3.0 engine, 4x4, automatic. New fuel pump and MAF. Starts, dies after couple seconds. Will only stay running if old MAF is plugged into connector, which takes any airflow reading out of circuit - hooked up to a dead device. No check engine light on when engine dies. Only time light is on is when making engine run by hooking up to old MAF. Have had problem in the past with ever being able to get a reading from OBD check light reader - engine light on and reader says nothing. Like it is not connecting to anything. Terrible gas mileage before it quit - about 14 MPG. Runs and drives if hooked up to old the old MAF and leaving old MAF laying under hood as I drive. Thanks for your help.

It should not run with old one not in the correct position.

There is change in air volume and it is not reading anything

a scan tool would be helpfull to see what the actual voltage is when running.

Mileage is due to this issue.

Check with a parts store for codes. They can blink them out and get back to us
