94 F350 7.3TD Has good lift pump and new filter. Break injectors loose and no fuel. Ran fine previous day. Started next morning (ambient 37F) and it shut off within 10 seconds. Lift flow was weak so I changed the filter and got good flow but unknown pressure. Wondering if fuel cut solenoid is known for failure. Pump seems too unlikely at this mileage.
May be able to donate $$ later but Ex has all my money now, literally.

You need to measure the lift pump pressure. 7 or 8 lbs should be enough.
Pumps can fail anytime for any reason. Do not rule it out. The high pressure pump needs to be checked as well. Make sure your oil is in good condition and the pressure is good as well.
