1994 f150 the battery is brand new the started is still good and the alternator is good. The battery will die over night if left hooked up, the battery will die when I turn on the lights and when I'm driving at night.

Two things here. First, check for an electrical draw. Go to homepage under the DIY section for directions. Next, if the alt is good, the battery shouldn't die while driving. If it does, check fuseable link between alt and battery.

EVEN THOUGH THE BATTERY IS BRAND SPANKING NEW. IT COULD STILL BE BAD!

1ST THING I'D HAVE RECHECKED PRIOR TO RIPPING THE TRUCK APART!

SAME GOES FOR THE ALTERNATOR--MAY STILL CHARGE BUT DIODES OR SOMETHING ELSE MAY BE BAD

MOST POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORES CAN CHECK BOTH FOR FREE AND PERFORM TESTS THAT YOUR VOLTMETER CANNOT DO. SPECIFICALLY ASK THEM ABOUT THE DIODES WHEN YOU GO

KEEP US INFORMED---WE LIKE TO LEARN STUFF TOO!
