94 dodge van v6 engine, has no power, will die on a level road. Starts easily. Engine seems to nose dive as you drive along. If you take it out of gear, it seams to rev better than in gear. The engine seams to take too long to get up to temperature (dash guage), so I replaced the thermostat. I had a different problem a while back which required the ignition coil to be replaced.

Check fuel pump pressure. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free. Also, check to make sure the catalytic converter isn't plugging. Many times they will glow red hot if they are plugging.
