Transmission Problems

I have a 1994 dodge Ram 3500. It has an automatic transmission. I had the transmission rebuilt about 2 years ago. Now when I start to take off it seems like it starts in 2nd gear. When I manually shift to fist it does fine. Also earlier this year I was driving down the road and it was shifting between overdive and 3rd gear and now it won't shift into overdrive. Any idea's??

sounds like a valve body issue. you need a trans shop to do Pressure checkes to verify. Have changed the fluid on a regular basis??

I changed it when I got the truck and when I had it rebuilt.

2 years is a long time not to change the oil. it needs to be changed like engine but not as often.

anyway, it may be valve body as i suggested but you need to get it confirmed by someone
