My 94 3.4 liter camaro ran out of gas. Sputtered to gas station cutting off as I pull to pump. I put 20 dollars in gas and started car and pulled out of gas station partially sputtering but had most of its power then rapidly getting worse. Car cut off and would acted choked almost cutting off. Give it more gas it back fires and loses more power. I fried starter trying to crank and get further home to keep from tow bill. So I had it towed to mechanic and they fixed starter and told me it was plugs and wires arching on engine put on new plugs and wires. Car seemed to run fine after. Until about 4 days later 6am and car does same thing and finally dies near my work. After work I crank and drive most of the way home. Dies and I have it towed to different shop. They check it out and say it is egr valve. So replaced it and drove away car running and seeming fine. Next morning which is today my car cranked I drove off w slight sputtering that got worse and eventually disabled my car. I need my car fixed but I don't want to buy a bunch of time and labor for parts if my car is not going to run most of the time. Any one know what the problem is?

Scan for codes and check feul pressure with a gauge autoparts rent them. The pump may be bad as you ran out of gas 41-47 psi must have minimum pressure otherwise causes problems.
