Stopped for a soda, rolled up windows and closed door. Locked from passenger door. Came out, unlocked passenger door ok, aw window didn't adjust. Went to driver side, can't unlock form outside or inside. Trunk unlock ok. Was able to unlock and open passenger door and had to slide in from passenger side. Windows not working either.

Does the door open from the inside? If so, open it and remove the door panel. Make sure the door locking and latch mechanisms are properly connected. Make sure the wiring connector to the door is properly plugged in.

Well. I thought I had it covered, and then tonight I stopped for gas and I couldn't get the gas flap cover open. Had to get into the trunk for the emergency pull switch. So, it appears to my untrained (and frustrated) self, that perhaps the door locking system is in need of replacement(?)Would this be the part referred to as the "door lock actuator"? Am I looking at big bucks to repair this?

The door lock actuators are solenoids. For the passenger doors, it's quick, fairly easy, and relatively cheap. $12.95 at the local car stereo/alarm shop I get my stuff from. The actuator for the fuel door is a motor, located in the trunk. Bring a 12V source to a self-service junkyard, pull and test until you find a good one. But test to make sure the existing one is getting power when you hit the switch.
