I have a 93 that needs inner and outer tie rod ends replaced. do you recommend lock tight on the threads for the inner where it connects to the rack? what do you reccommend for grease for the inner and outer? how tight do you tighten the cast

After purchasing tires I took the car for an alignment and was told the tie rods were bad and the alignment shouldnt be done until the tie rods are repaired. What is the best way for me to trouble shoot the tie rods ?

jack up the wheels and grab the tire at 3 and 9 o clock position and you should feel the play.

if you dont believe them, get a second opinion and have the other shop show you.
